To seal these lids on any item with ease, make sure both the lid and the item are dry before stretching the lids on. Wash after each use to keep clean. Silicone itself can be recycled multiple times, and when being repurposed, it is safely incinerated back into its base materials to be reused for new products. If you ever end up having to dispose of a lid, check to see if silicone is accepted in your curbside pick-up for recycling; if not, look for a recycling center that accepts it.
